In Decmeber, 2005, PFC Herkommer left for a second tour of duty in Iraq. He is attached to the 4th Infantry Division.
Michael is attached to Military Intelligence whose responsibility is to remotely gather information about enemy positions, damage assessments, and surveillance. He lives in an airplane hanger with 10 other soldiers. From there they fly their drone missions in and around Samarra.
