equiPoise
Our equiPoise software is a suite of programs used for monitoring, predicting, and estimating pore pressure in real time at the
rig site and at the office simultaneously. It's designed to run on an Intranet site and is accessed through a browser window
(such as Internet Explorer).
equiPoise predicts pore pressure by correlating existing data with the data it receives from the LWD Company on the rig. LWD/MWD
data is captured in real-time using the Well Information Transfer Standard (WITS). Once this data has been loaded, you have complete
processing control over the processing method used for pressure estimation. Here are just a few of the parameters that equiPoise uses
to determine abnormal formation pressures:
