pQube
pQube is a suite of programs used for predicting and estimating abnormal formation pressure using 3D or 2D seismic velocity data.
It can process just a few velocity functions or a large 3D volume from a high-resolution velocity survey. pQube also uses offset well
data consisting of shale-sensitive logs and porosity-sensitive logs, as well as Leak Off Tests in determining the fracture gradient.
Listed below are a few examples of pQube velocity processing and analysis:
- Calibration and correlation of well data (bulk density curve and Leak Off Test analysis)
- Water Velocity Analysis
- Pore pressure and fracture gradient calibration
- Interval velocity check-plot and normal compaction trend stability plot
